Complete Beginners Patchwork Cushion Workshop - Saturday 18th May 2024

Welcome to our brand new course, tailored specifically for those who are just starting out! Whether you've never picked up a needle and thread or you're simply looking to brush up on your sewing skills, this course is designed with you in mind.

No prior knowledge of sewing or machine operation is necessary—all you need is the enthusiasm to learn. We'll start right from the basics, guiding you through the essentials like threading a sewing machine and cutting fabric. By the end, you'll be amazed at how confidently you can create your very own patchwork cushion!

Along the way, we'll introduce you to some of the key terminology used in the world of sewing, helping you feel more comfortable and informed as you dive into this exciting new hobby. Get ready to unleash your creativity and embark on a journey of stitching and crafting!

The final cushion you'll create will feature a charming 9-patch block design, complete with a border and an envelope back for easy access. As you progress through the course, you'll have the opportunity to explore various edging techniques, allowing you to personalize your cushion based on your preferences and skills. Get ready for a fun and fulfilling sewing adventure!

There will be tools and sewing machines available to borrow on the day but you will need to buy fabric (min. 3 fat quarters) and thread.

This class will have no more that 6 participants.
