THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THIS COURSE IS £35, THE £15 PAID HERE IS YOUR DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR PLACE.  THE FINAL £20 IS TO BE PAID DIRECTLY TO JENNY ON THE DAY OF YOUR WORKSHOP.  

This is a skills workshop for quilt binding method by machine.
You will learn:
  • Joining binding strips
  • Mitring quilt corners
  • End joining your binding for a flat and professional finish.
  • Finishing hidden hem for invisible stitching.
A shorter hand-sewing demo of ‘fold over’ mitred corners will be included.
Due to space constraints will be working on small samples to repeat the process several times in the class.  Please do not expect to work on your big quilts on the day, this is meant to practice and gain the skills to finish off your quilts at home. Placemats are perfect for this workshop if you would like to prepare these ahead. But if you have a quilt that needs binding and would like some advice, please bring it along on the day as show and tell is always welcomed!

The materials requirements list will be sent out ahead of the class.

Come along and join our friendly classes in our light and airy classroom.  Plenty of Tea, Coffee, and Cake are always available.

This class will need at least 4 participants to run.
