We are launching this new pen-pal style club inviting everyone across TheFatQuarter online community as we thought it would be a nice way to make some connections with those of similar interest who are too far away to meet up.
How does it work?
The club will begin swapping in January 2024. We’ll have a list of members’ preferences for colour and print style (within reason) and each month you will be matched with another member to make either two English paper piecing 1” hexie flowers or 14 stepping stones and send them through the post to your partner with a little note about yourself or a short greeting. Your partner will change every month so you will have a variety of flowers swapped and have the chance to reach out to our members from across TheFatQuarter community. It's a great way to spend an hour or so each month, hand sewing and connecting with like-minded people and possibly gain a new pen-pal or two!

TheFatQuarter Hexie Rosette Swap Club
The club will run continuously with an annual fee of £10 to cover admin, postage, etc. The initial fee of £10 will be due on signup and will cover January 2024 to December 2024 at which point you will be asked if you would like to continue.
Your welcome email will outline the group structure in more detail with some inspiration for hexie rosette projects.
After enrolment there will be a short questionnaire for everyone to fill in with their preferences and information. After the questionnaire has been received you’ll be sent a small starter kit with set of 1 inch paper hexie templates and simple instructions to get you started with guidelines for the hexies so everyone is stitching consistently.
As part of your membership you will receive a unique voucher for 10% off all English Paper Piecing products in store and online for the duration of your membership as a thank you for taking part .
This should be good fun, so we’d love to have you join our Hexie Rosette community. I hope our members will enjoy reaching out and making new friends with other English paper piecers.
